These Purple Passion Fruit vines are well rooted and ready for planting. They are vigorous growers and set large, beautiful, and sweet fruit. They are from the same stock as the producing vines on our farm which are spaced 12 feet apart. 

They start as healthy cuttings taken from our mature 2-acre grove of mother passion fruit plants. We root the cuttings for 3 months in 100% perlite then up-pot them with a natural potting mix. 

Caring For Passion Fruit Vines

Passion Fruit vines are easy to grow and require minimal maintenance. They prefer a well drained soil rich in organic matter. Vines can spread to 12 feet along a fence or trellis and climb vertically 10-15 feet. 

Mature vines need 7-10 gallons of water per week during the flowering and fruiting seasons. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer such as 8-8-8 monthly from March to October. Healthy leaves are green year round tho it is normal for leaves to yellow in sustained cold due to lower iron uptake or as they age.

Passion fruit can have multiple blooms, with the first being in early spring, and it will produce fruit around 80 days after pollination.
